Safer Sauna Heater
Positioning the sauna heater behind a false wall in the sauna cabin increases the safety of the sauna bathers, ensuring against accidental slips, trips or falls onto the sauna heater. The air temperature of the sauna cabin is often between 80 - 100 °C, however the hot surfaces of sauna heater and the rocks covering the elements can be in excess of 400°C.
Additionally a grate is positioned between the false wall and the rear wall of the sauna cabin to stop any debris (towels etc...) from being dropped onto the sauna heater.
Protected heating elements
The sauna heater elements are located beneath the rock tray in the behind bench sauna heater. This prevents water being splashed directly onto the elements which is a common cause of element failure in standard sauna heaters.
A water dish and hose are fitted with the behind bench sauna heater, users pour water into this dish mounted behind the false wall and the water is distributed evenly across the rocks. Water thrown behind the bench will also be collected by the rock tray and will never fall directly onto the elements.Sequential Heating
Oceanic sauna heaters have been designed to provide greater control over the sauna cabin environment.
Sequential heating - to begin with all of the elements switch on for rapid heating, as the required temperature is approached the elements switch off sequentially until just one element is left on in order to maintain the cabin temperature steady within a narrow band - helping to improve user comfort and extend the life of the elements, as well as reducing energy waste.OCSB Digital Remote Controls
OCSB digital remote controls for time, temperature and overheat protection, there is also a switch for the sauna cabin light and the starting time can be preset up to 12 hours in advance. Not only are digital controls are more accurate and more reliable than conventional controls they are particularly suitable for commercial use - allowing the operator to maintain control over the sauna temperature and prevent tampering. A series of LEDs show each function of the heater and allow for quick and simple fault diagnosis in the event of a problem occurring.
